What’s Growing!

IMG_1242I have to say, we are all quite happy with the beginning of spring and the arrival of some nicer weather.

So far, we have planted broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, onions, leeks, kale, collards, tomatoes and spinach. Plus, the ground is all prepped for potatoes and some more spring garden items. That’s enough to keep us busy!

But we are also doing some ‘salvage’ harvesting where we clean out the last bit of good produce from the fields and high tunnels. Then we’ll be able to mow and spade it under to make room for the next crop. What’s going in there, you ask? Those crops will include kale, collards and turnips.

Do you have a Spring Share? If so, you’ve probably been enjoying the bounty of carrots that we have been harvesting.

Happy Eating!
