A partial list of what we grow each season is below. It is a long list. We grow over 40 types of vegetables and many varieties of each type.
A typical Medium Spring share may be 2 quarts of Strawberries, 1 lb of Broccoli, 1/3 lb of baby Spinach, 1 Lettuce head, 1 bunch of Kale, 1 lb of Turnips.
A typical Medium Summer share may be 3 lbs of Tomatoes, 2 lbs of Squash, 1 lb of Lima Beans, 1 lb of Sweet Bell Peppers, 1 Watermelon.
A typical Medium Fall Share may be 2 Butternut Squashes, 1 bunch of Kale, 2 lbs of Carrots, 2 lbs of Cabbage, 2 lbs of Tomatoes, 1 lb of Green Bell Peppers, 1 bunch of Radishes.
A Large share will have about 2 more items than a medium share and small share will have about 2 less items.
Every week’s share will get 5 to 10 different items.
Additionally, we may buy locally grown and milled grits and corn meal, honey, apples, blueberries and other items from other local growers to supplement our CSA shares. These items may or may not be certified organic and will be labeled ‘Not Organic’ if they are not certified organic.
